Our Aim
Mounting Eagles is a diverse vibrant group of youth with an age group ranging between 13-27 years of age. The group aims to maximise youth potential so as to secure an effective God believing generation for the future.
Achieving the Aim
There are battles the youth face such as alcohol and drug abuse, social media and gaming addictions, choosing a career path, pornography, relationships, abuse, peer pressure and low self esteem, only to mention a few. Apart from several teachings around the above topics and much more to enable breakthroughs we always ensure that the youth have someone to confide in. The beauty of Mounting Eagles Youth Ministry is that, it is a group that can be merged or separated to ensure teachings are relevant to a specific age or gender.
Every 6-8 weeks we have different teachings. We believe in offering the youth guidance through biblical teachings and principles. (Ephesians 5:26-27), "That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish."
Sometimes we like to have a bit of fun and agree to go out for meals, watch movies or play a sport. Every year we organise weekend retreats which are overseen by a few responsible adults from the church. At times, we have Sunday services which are led by the youth and they offer a refreshing experience in the sanctuary. In addition, other youths are involved in activities such as serving for beverages, praise and worship as well as dancing. We sometimes work with parents and other groups to achieve our objectives. Please feel free to come and join our friendly, influencing and exuberant group. We encourage parents to motivate and support their teenage and adult children to join the Mounting Eagles Youth Ministry as this can bring a positive change in the home environment.
As youth we are unstoppable unshakeable and immovable. (Isaiah 40:31), "but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint."
