Our Aim
This vibrant team works to publicly preach and spread the Gospel with the intention to share the message and teachings of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ according to Romans 10:14-15.
Achieving the Aim
Life style Evangelism – church members are taught and encouraged to embrace Christianity as a lifestyle. We believe that when we live according to biblical principles we will lead others to see the Gospel in our lives thereby enabling them to ask about the God we serve. This encourages righteousness and continual examination of oneself to live right according to the Gospel.
Street/Tract Evangelism – we explain the contents of the tracts to the people we meet and leave a copy with them for further consideration. When someone is unable to stop for a conversation, we give them a copy trusting the Lord for conviction. This is a simple and effective method of personal evangelism which does not call for the red tape route of notifying the police etc. It’s an excellent conversation starter useful to church members who are not yet confident to explain the Gospel.
Conversation Evangelism – with this method we explore ways to start conversations for the purpose of sharing the Gospel during an everyday conversation. Tools such as tracts and the Bible are used. One of its great advantages is that it depends mainly on one’s passion to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. The key points being that; it’s personal, does not require a special gift and anyone can do it.
As Christians we are watchmen and have to deliver the message of salvation to the world. We are in a world that is imprisoned by the evil one, hence, when the day of judgement comes we will be held to account by God, Ezekiel 3:17-19.
